Coach Walters began coaching high school football in 1999 at his alma mater, Marina High School. He came to Edison High School in 2006 and enters his 15th season as an assistant coach for the Chargers. Coach Walters has been a part of the Chargers coaching staff for 8 Sunset League titles and 2 C.I.F. Southern Section championships. He has been fortunate enough to be a position coach of 6 All-Orange County and 7 All-C.I.F. linebackers during the 11 seasons he’s spent working with varsity linebackers. He teaches Advanced Placement U.S. History as well as U.S. History and U.S. Government here at Edison. He resides in Huntington Beach with his wife, Nicole and their sons Mikey and Dylan.
